Instead of using the traditional phone line, it is your broadband (cable or DSL)Internet connection handling incoming and outgoing calls. Just a simple plug-in of the TritonVoice Adapter to your Internet line and you are ready to go. The adapter converts your voice into digital data. TritonVoice Service handles the connection seemlessly between the parties--even if the other party uses the old-fashioned technology. A cable or DSL Internet connection, a regular telephone, and a TritonVoice Telephone Adapter are required for service.

TritonVoice service, is a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) service, which differs from regular telephone service.
When placing a domestic call with TritonVoice service, you must dial 1 plus the ten-digit telephone number (area code and number) of the person you are trying to reach. You can configure your adapter for local calling by adding your area code under "other", "phone options" in your TritonVoice account.
When placing an international call with TritonVoice service, you must dial just the country code and the telephone number of the person you are trying to reach.
TritonVoice service is completely portable.
Wherever there is a broadband connection, you can make calls with your TritonVoice adapter - or access many of TritonVoice features directly from the Internet through your account center.
TritonVoice service does not support traditional 911 or E911 access to emergency services. The E911 service (911 Service) differs in a number of important ways from traditional emergency response services. YOU MUST MAINTAIN AN ALTERNATE MEANS OF REQUESTING EMERGENCY SERVICES. An accurate service address is required to route your calls to the closest emergency call center in the event that you dial 9-1-1.
TritonVoice service will not work if power is out. TritonVoice will not support home security systems and cannot be used with satellite television services. Network congestion or use of data services at the same time as TritonVoice might affect sound quality. To use more than one phone with your TritonVoice service, an expandable cordless phone system is required.
